The beat goes on with a 3-1 day yesterday and the current run is now 20-5 in my last 25 plays. To go along with that is 65% for the month and now nearly +20 units for the season. I’m still just in enjoy this while it lasts mode and trying to milk this streak for as long as I can. As is always the case on Fridays the schedule is thin but I did find one play and here it is….

St. Francis (-2.5): You don’t often see lined games in the Northeast Conference but we’ve got one tonight and it comes with arguably the best two teams in the conference. St. Francis will have a shot at some quick revenge as they lost at Wagner just 8 days ago. These teams are extremely different in that Wagner has a borderline horrible offense but a solid defense to keep them competitive, while St. Francis has a horrible defense but a good enough offense to usually overcome it. In the match up last week as is usually the case in Wagner wins it was their defense that carried them. They held St. Francis to just 0.94 PPP and also really beat them up on the glass 38-25. Like most teams St. Francis is much better at home than they are on the road and I think the change of venue will work in their favor tonight. Wagner is 10-0 this year at home but only 3-6 on the road and this weekend against St. Francis and then Robert Morris will be their toughest conference tests of the year. The biggest change I’m looking for tonight in comparison to their meeting last week is the production of King and Braxton. On the year they combine for 35 points per game and roughly 50% FG shooting between the two of them. In the game last week they combined to go 3-15 for just 13 points. At home and looking for revenge I would highly doubt Wagner holds down that duo again here. With them leading the way plus the emerging Wolford who is shooting over 50% from 3, I think they’ll have too much fire power for Wagner to deal with. St. Francis wins this one by 8-10 or so.
